Title: connect MC-gateway to a password protected wifi

I want to connect my gateway to the network over WiFi, however, the wifi is password protected... how can I connect it?

Hi Ayush,

After connecting to your mc-Gateway through mc-Studio, you can select 'Gateway Config'. This is where you can enter the SSID and password for your WIFI network (as well as other fields options that you can fill out).
If you do not have WPS on your modem/router, you will need to connect the Gateway via Ethernet first so that you can connect to the gateway to enter the details into the Gateway Config. After you enter the details, you can then disconnect from the ethernet cable, reset the modem (so that it takes the new configuration settings) and then switch it over to WIFI. When powered again, the gateway should find your WIFI network and connect to it!

On the topic of WiFi, can we connect mcGateway to a non-DHCP enabled wifi by entering IP, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway manually
