Hello everyone! There is a new version of the mc-OTA application available on our website today!
The new version is v.1.2.10 and was released today, August 12th 2016. We will be updating the mc-OTA user guide but the main new functions in the mc-OTA updater are:

1) Ability to erase an mc-Script that is loaded into your modules!
2) If mc-OTA updater, for some reason, cannot automatically detect mc-Boot, then you can manually select a different port
3) Will not allow you to load mc-Mod120 firmware onto an mc-Mod110 device and vice-versa

      invalid string. This still showed up as a valid string within the debug

As you know, there are so many things you can do with the mc-Things platform! As we say, the opportunities are endless!

We want to know if you have any of you have suggestions for our example videos! We have completed:

- Temperature network using IFTTT
- Door open and closed using the magnetic switch using MQTT and IFTTT
- Light sensor demo with the mc-Dev board and the mc-modules using

We have a couple of ideas up our sleeves and are putting together a couple other videos with some really cool projects (coming soon!) but we want to hear your suggestions as well. Please feel free to leave a reply here with your suggestion!

That is so great! This exact setup is where people could start to use the mc-Things platform for cold-chain monitoring and management (Startup idea!). Imagine a retailer or a cold-storage company starting to use these devices for showing their temperatures in real-time and alert if a temperature threshold is broken. Very cool!

Can i also ask what you are using for displaying the data (screenshots)?

@Garnet - The plastics have still not arrived to us but they are on their way! Due to some issues with the quality from our initial molds that we received, we have been working to make sure that the quality and design was up to standard. The plastics that are arriving are not just the mc-Gateway enclosures and the mc-Module enclosures but also the plastics we require for the mc-Plugs. While we are waiting for the plastics we are moving forward with building the mc-Plugs so that we can send everything out in one shipment.
