Okay, so now I have a new issue.
I can see the gateway and connect to it. I can then see the two mcModules, after a minute or so.
But when I click on one of the mcModules, and then click on Connect to Device, the timer at the top goes, stating Conencting to Device for XX seconds. After a while (time varies), the gateway seems to drop off, and then I need to reconnect. I can never actually connect to a mcModule.
I've tried uploading a few different, very basic, programs to the mcModule, but the gateway, through device manager, never says its connected to the actual module?

Hey Cochrane,

Can you confirm if you are using fresh, good batteries?
Also, you mention that you have uploaded code to the modules, so this means you have been able to connect to them in the past, correct? Did you notice the same issues when you were able to connect to the modules previously?

I'm pretty sure these are new batteries, but will get another brand new set just in case.

No, I have never actually connected and uploaded code to them, at least I don't think so. I think the one time it said it went through, I was actually disconnected from the Gateway and it had automatically connected to the Virtual Gateway? I really have no way of verifying as I cant connect to them to see what's happening.

I'm still not sure if the Gateway is up to date. I've tried dozens of times, using the method in the instructions. I just don't get how you can ensure that it has "taken"?

Could an incorrect version cause this issue?

Okay, so placed brand new batteries into them and still am unable to connect.
I've attached a screen shot of my device manager. It runs to 60+ seconds and then just stops. and I try and again and again, to no avail.
It looks like the versioning of the gateway is correct based on the other posts.

I've restarted the gateway, the mcmodules, the PC and the network several times. I'm sure i'm missing something as usual.

Based on the Beacon Data I see in your device manager, your two modules are running very old mcOs versions. Please update your modules using mcOTA and see if that fixes your problem.
