Loading code into the device failed
0
I have clicked “load the program in the device” in mcStudio a few times now for one of my mcModules. After realizing debug mode is not supported this way, I tried to just click “Run.” Every time now I am getting the “Loading code into the device failed” error message.
So, I unwrapped another mcModule and updated its firmware (yes, the module with the problem also has up-to-date firmware). I connected that device and bam! It worked.
Any way to reset a mcModule to perhaps get rid of any corruption?Like

Upload the firmware again and it should be good.Like

Uploading the firmware again did not fix the problem. I now have a second device that seems corrupted.Like

Did you loaded the correct code in. What I mean is the module code in the module and the host in the host. We have improved the wording on the web-site to indicate what is what.Like

I found my answer from the temperature logging video! YdihsxJvXLE
Always click “build the application” even if you are running the code on the device without flashing it.
I got an error called “could not read data from the device” when running in debug mode, but it worked the second time I tried it. I imagine this is just a beta issue, where things don't work 100%. At least I am getting it to work 80% of the time.
Keep up the hard work, mc-team!Like
