After this and the the host update my modules no longer transmit MQTT. I have tried resetting some and no dice. If I update the module it still won't report. Once I reprogram the module that module will then report. They will still send beacons prior to resetting etc.

--
Tried again and found that one worked after updating the firmware. I reset it 3 times trying to get it to connect in mcStudio but it wouldn't and then it sent out an MQTT message it is supposed to do so every 2 minutes but after an additional 5 minutes it only sent beacons and not MQTT messages. I have now managed to get it to connect to mcStudio and I have reprogrammed it and will see how it goes.

The module is 1 Meter away from the gateway with no obstructions between it.

30 minutes later and no more MQTT messages sent from this module. The same code as the others. I am giving up on it for now, there is some kind of unhappy bug in the gateway firmware I think. It is still sending beacons. One of my devices has not sent a beacon since the update but I haven't retrieved it to reset it to see what happens due to it's awkward location.

Today's update

The Module Lives!
I found it was beaconing and that I had made a mistake with the MQTT string on this device.
