Max Sensor Power Consumption

What is the max power I can draw from a Mcmodule 110 "high" digital pin when the sensor is connected to external battery of 3.3 - 3.5 V. The sensor I have in mind would pull a max 15mA when in use.

The maximum power that can be drawn from an I/O pin is 5mA for the mcMod110.

Thanks for the feeback but 5 ma is not enough. I might be able to go below 10 ma (around 8 ma)

Would it be possible to use 2 or 3 pins of the Mcmodule 110 in parallel to support the max of 10 ma. Would need this power only for a couple of seconds befor switching the sensor Off.

You may be able to use 3 pins in parallel, the maximum recommended draw for the microcontroller is 5mA per pin to a total of 15mA for the entire device.

Is it the same recommendation for mcModule 120?

The mcModule120 uses a different microcontroller which current allows up to 4mA per pin but the microcontroller does have a high drive capability which allows up to 15mA per pin. We are looking at adding a new Pinmode in a future version which will allow the pin to be set to this higher drive mode. Is this something that you are immediately interested in?

Thanks for the reply, this is not something that I immediately need but definitely a good feature and it is great that it will be added.
