New firmware - so far so good

(1/1)

Nick_W:
Just to let you know, up to 3 days 6 hours with no resets, and still publishing on 110 and 120 modules!

Jury is still out on battery life for the 120 module (at 2.78 V after 3 days from fresh battery, publishing every 10 seconds.)

Nick_W:
Update,

My longest running module (still have to update to the latest F/W) is up to 8 days with no resets right now.

Will let you know about 120 mod battery life in a week or so...

Nick_W:
So, everything seems well with the latest firmware (except for long MQTT delays).

My longest running module is up to 17 days with no resets. 120 battery life now seems stable. Of course only time will tell with that...

I'm pretty happy with the battery life so far.  I was seeing ~18 days per battery with my current application.  Since the firmware was around the 10th, I'd have gone through a complete battery replacement since then.  Coincidentally, it was right around the 10th that I did replace all the batteries anyway.  At any rate, all the voltage levels are hovering around 2.8-2.9, which is great.

I made this little excel plot of one of the voltages over time just to see the "before fixed firmware & after" difference..

I made the "Fixed" graph start on a battery replacement, but I think the little upward jog in the line around 1/10/17 is when I updated the firmware.

Nick_W:
Just a quick update, I have a 110 module in a hard to get to location, so I haven't updated the firmware since the last release.

It's just reached 48 days with no resets!

Awesome!
